OUR STUDENTS
The District 70 Board of Education and Administration completely disregarded 2/3 of the health and well-being of the children in our district. Based upon faulty and irrelevant data sets provided by the state and local health departments, the leadership of District 70 focused entirely on the physical well-being of the students. This, in turn, completely neglected the other 2/3 of the whole child --- the social and the emotional well-being of our children.
“Never before in my pediatric career and prior public health and preventative medicine training have I seen such a perversion of public health policies that have not followed the evidence and puts at risk for harm one vulnerable population to protect another. Any public health or medical intervention must consider the balance of benefit and harm. We are well past protecting vaccinated adults and adults who decline vaccinations. It’s time to give our kids a normal life.”
